Nigerian rapper Olamide beaten up badly by area boys during video shoot

Nigerian indigenious rapper Olamide who was seen performing yesterday at a political event in Alimosho area of Lagos decided to shoot a new music video in Ayobo.

The decision turned out to be a regrettable one as area boys in the zone refused to clear off the scene to allow the shooting.
They reportedly seized the singer's car keys and demanded he settle them with some cash.

Olamide's manager refused to pay the area boys the amount they requested, an action which led to the chaos. The singer was later rescued by another group of boys who were his fans in the hood.

According to inside source who confidently spoke to NigerianDailyMail: "Olamide was harrassed by some area boys but he threw money into the air for them before leaving Alimosho with his team, I cannot confirm if the singer was beaten but he is doing good".
