Davido and his elder brother react to claims that D'banj signed him in 2014

Nigerian singer Davido and his elder brother Adewale Adeleke have both responded to claims by D'banj that he actually signed Davido to his DB records in 2014.  Recall that during an interview with UK music group, The Fedz, D’banj alleged he signed Davido in 2014 and also gave him a Rolex as a sign-on fee.
The interview which has been making the rounds on the internet with a lot of critics looking shocked over the revelation got popular OAP Daddy Freeze thinking. He shared on his Instagram page with a caption: ‘Signed on with a #Rolex? Hard to imagine…’

Davido’s elder brother and chairman of HKN who took sides with Daddy Freeze, replied with: ‘You get sense’.

The man in question Davido came on Instablog9ja page to clear the air. Davido mentioned in the comments ‘D BANJ GAVE ME MY FIRST ROLEX THO .. BUT I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING .. BLESSINGS TO HIM! Paved the way for sure !’
