Wizkid finally signs multi-million Dollars record deal with RCA records and Sony Music

Sometime last year it was announced that Wizkid signed a lucrative record deal with Sony Music. Now it has been confirmed. RCA Records tweeted the confirmation a few moments ago. While sharing the official press release put out via Billboard.  They wrote:

Welcome to the family, @wizkidayo! https://t.co/VzRTBNhZxW  — RCA Records (@RCARecords) March 1, 2017  Nigerian singer/songwriter WizKid has found a new home. As previously heard on Drake‘s Hot 100-topping hit “One Dance” (which he co-wrote and co-produced), the Afrobeats star has signed a multi-album worldwide deal with RCA Records/Sony Music International.  “It’s hard for me to describe what I do, since I work with rhythms from Afro-Beat, reggae, hip-hop, dance hall and others,” WizKid told Billboard in a statement. “What’s important to me is for music to be real, authentic, raw and timeless. I don’t wanna be boxed in to any one genre.”

Congrats to the star Boy.
