Singer Simi shunned us at the 2017 AMVCAs - Photographers lament

Simi attended and performed at the 5th annual Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and faced lots of criticism for her outfit choice.

Well it didn't turn out to be her night as even the photographers at the awards ceremony were left disgruntled when the singer refused to walk the red carpet.

According to the Net, she walked the official red carpet so fast to escape cameramen and paparazzi from taking her pictures.

‘Simi! Hi Simi! Simi here! Simi let me take your picture na,’ the cameramen requested.

Another said, “she behaved a bit different than in previous events.”

‘Simi disappointed us today,’ said a camera man. ‘But she’s not the type of person that shy away from cameras,’ he added.

There’s MTN here,’ the new Etisalat ambassador said as she walked away.

Her reason was well stated, but not all the cameramen were pleased.

Simi who performed ‘Love Don’t Care’ during the award show, was later captured on a different section of the red carpet not promoting any telecommunication brand on the backdrop.
