Photo: How Chocolate City Boss Audu Maikori was released from the den of the DSS

Chocolate City Chairman, Mr Audu Maikori was released yesterday. He was released around 6:00pm Nigerian time according to his lawyer after providing a surety.

According to a former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili had yesterday afternoon tweeted that she spoke with the Governor of Kaduna State, and he agreed at the end of their discussion to act and free Mr Audu quickly. She had tweeted;

“I asked the @GovKaduna to consider @Audu ‘s apology and his unfortunate arrest as a TEACHABLE MOMENT for both the Government & everyone.

“At the end of our discussion, @GovKaduna agreed to ACT and FREE @Audu quickly and end this unfortunate development. WILL WATCH OUT FOR IT.”

Well it happened as agreed and now everyone is calm once again.
