Photos: Man reportedly buys and cook plastic rice in Lagos

A man who mistakenly bought and cooked plastic rice in Lagos has come out to cry to the public. He also shared some of his experiences while posting photos of his ordeal.

Below is how you can spot a plastic rice:

1. It lathers like a washing detergent when the rice starts boiling (the foam is usually very much)
2. If it is brought close to the nose, it smells like rotten egg
3. The difference is also in the taste (please don't swallow)
4. It gets watery after like 30mins of cooking.
