Lil Wayne denies Birdman, says he's not family

It seems to long beef between Lil Wayne and Cash Money CEO Birdman is still far from over.

During a recent interview with HipHollywood, Wayne was asked about how his relationship with the man he’s called father for the better part of his 20 year career would turn out, his response sounded contradictory.

“I’m 34 baby, I’m too old for friends,” he bluntly responds. “His last name isn’t Carter, baby. He’s not family,” Wayne adds.

Lil Wayne is currently on a tour round the United States promoting his new book Gone ‘Til November, which is a hand-written diary that documents his time locked up in prison on Rikers Island.
