Davido's music producer also signed a juicy Sony Music record deal (details)

Davido revealed this during his media tour at select radio stations in Lagos.

Davido's long time right hand producer Shizzi has been signed by Sony Music.

The 'Dami duro' crooner revealed this during his media rounds at Cool FM Lagos studio, while speaking with presenter DO2dtun about Shizzi producing his new single 'Gbagbe Oshi' off his recently released EP "Son Of Mercy".

"He just signed his deal with Sony, and is now based in the US".

The singer talks about working better in the US as things are calmer over there but wont be going back till November.

The OBO then makes his way down to The Beat FM studios, where he hangs out with On-Air Personality Toolz.

On what he feels the reception of 'Gbagbe oshi' has been, Davido confidently says "I don't think I have dropped something they've never loved..yet".

He lists Usher, Sre Rremmurd, DJ Snake, Young Thug, Popcaan, Rock City among others as the featured artists on his forthcoming album.

On being signed with Wizkid to Sony, the singer jokes "Yeah we are under the same label can you imagine". He mentions that there is no bad blood between them and Wizkid might even feature on his album.

On his recent signing of acts such as Dammy Krane, Toolz asks if he would also sing a female artist. He reveals he would love to have signed X3M music singer Simi. "I'd put a billion behind Simi, but she's with someone, so that's not gonna happen."

Among the international acts, he describes mostly being fascinated with Usher as he grew up watching him.

Wizkid is yet to confirm if he is ready to do a collabo with Davido.
